Lately…S’Well Water Bottles

Lately We’re Loving…S’well Water Bottles

Not gonna lie, S’well water bottles are expensive. So much more than the water bottles we’re used to buying at Target or even health food stores that we didn’t invest in one for the longest time….and then we did. Then we threw out all of our other water bottles!

Why?

  • They don’t leak. We’ve drenched backpacks and gym bags and the bottoms of purses too many times with other water bottles. This is the only one we’ve tried that has never leaked!
  • The Stainless steel fabrication keeps cold drinks cold for up to 24 hours and hot drinks hot for up to 12.
  • The wide mouth is easy to clean and you can easily add ice cubes.
  • They come in so many fun patterns and colors.

S’well bottles come in three sizes: 25 oz., 17 oz., and 9 oz. I use the big 25 oz. at the gym and I also have a 9 oz. bottle to carry in my purse. If you’re only going to have one, we recommend the 17 oz. size because it’s the most versatile.

The only rough part is the price. S’well bottles range from $25-$45 depending on the size. Yes, it’s more than water bottles should cost. But we will never recommend something that seems pricey on the Chronicles if we don’t feel it’s worth the splurge. These are worth it!

You can find S’well bottles at Nordstrom and at the S’well website.

I have to be honest, I have been using and prefer the Contigo 20oz water bottle with the Autoseal top (http://www.gocontigo.com/water-bottles/autoseal-water-bottles/). Why? Well they are extremely durable and hold up to abuse. I have taken one as my “go-to ” water bottle on my world trips and it holds up great. But the main reason is the spout. To drink water you don’t have to put your lips on the bottle. You just tip it towards your mouth, press the Autoseal button on the other side of the lid and a spring loaded seal opens to allow liquid to pour. When you put your mouth on the opening of a bottle, as you have to do with most water bottles, some of your mouth germs inevitably get into the liquid. This means you have to clean out and wash your bottle frequently….wasting water and time. With this bottle, because the liquid stays safely sealed and because your mouth never touches it, you can safely use the bottle over and over without having to wash it each time…I mean you do some but nothing like you have to do with a bottle with a standard opening. It’s genius!

Da haben sich vermutlich einige Innrtesseteen für gefunden und die Idee, das Sortiment damit zu erweitern ist klasse. Da darf man ja gespannt sein, was in Zukunft noch alles so bei Euch passiert.

Add to that list Lani Diane Rich a very funny romance writer. The first of her novels was a Nano success. I'm not doing Nano this year, but I have done it 4 times and am spending this month revising my 2009 Nano Novel per suggestions from an editor who sounds very intersted. Whoopee! All of Donna's advice is excellent. Among other things, Nano's gift to the author is a deadline. Go Authors!!!
