Host a Friendsgiving! Creative Ideas for making your table beautiful

One of our favorite things to do here at the Chronicles is hanging out with our friends. Our friends are very special to us and we love to throw parties or dinners, or just have a big group over for pizza and games. Thanksgiving is coming up really soon. Most of us celebrate. But have you heard of a Friendsgiving?

A Friendsgiving is a dinner party, usually close to Thanksgiving, where you celebrate friendship and fun. Many people have Friendsgiving potlucks, especially if they’ve just spent a lot of time cooking a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Or, if you and your immediate family don’t live near a lot of other family members, fill your Thanksgiving table with friends. After all, many people have friends they love so much, they consider them family! That is always worth celebrating.

Friendsgiving Food

One of our favorite partners, Taylor from Proflowers.com wanted to stop by with some Friendsgiving food and table decor ideas. First the food!

If you want to do something different than traditional Thanksgiving food, try:

  1. Potluck finger foods
  2. Fall pizza party and game night
  3. Ethnic Extravaganza (Greek, Indian, Italian and more…)

Friendsgiving Decor:

Whether your family is throwing a traditional Thanksgiving or you’d like to host a separate Friendsgiving dinner during your fall vacation week, we have some beautiful ideas for decorating your table. Taylor has thought of everything. The keys to creating special decor are thinking ahead and working together.
