Craft Time: DIY Air Plant String Art

I’ve been seeing air plants everywhere, lately, even at Target.  So when ProFlowers shared this DIY air plant string art tutorial I thought it was the perfect thing to share with readers. Looking for a fun spring project that’s easy and suitable for kids and teens too? Read on…

Air plant string art is a simple and unique project for your home. Some people like to use untreated wood but leave time to paint your surface if you have a different look in mind. Check out the infographic below to see the materials needed and images of the steps. We have plant care tips at the end, too.

Air plants make great additions to home decor pieces because they don’t require any soil to survive. Air plant care is simple. About once a week, their roots should be soaked in water for about 15 minutes and left to dry before replacing them onto the art.
Thanks, ProFlowers!
